Hello Fellow Titans!
As incredible as it seems, our 40 year reunion is just next year! If you were at our 35 year reunion you
already know what a great time it is to see the folks you grew up with, talk about the “good old days” in The Manor, tell
stories and lies and just be kids again for a few hours. You don’t need to worry that no one will remember you because they will.
You don’t need to worry about what you’ll talk about because the conversation just never seems to stop. You don’t need to worry
that you don’t look the same because none of us do. You’ll see a lot of grey hair (and that’s on the lucky ones that still have
hair), a lot of spare tires and a lot of wrinkles…but who cares? Our reunion isn’t about looking 18, it’s about laughing at the
fact that we survived it at all!
We have lots of other good stuff in store for our reunion week-end but we’ll let the suspense
build for now. So please don’t miss out. Save the date. Put a few dollars away each month to cover the cost and BE THERE!
And the drum roll please......... our 40-year Reunion will be held on April 30, 2011!
It's official now as the contract has been signed with the Marriott Hotel in Pleasanton. (Many of you will remember this hotel as
the Crowne Plaza from our last reunion in 2006) Plans have already begun to make this Reunion the best yet!
Also planned is a gathering at El Torito in San Leandro on Friday, April 29th, at 6:00 pm. This informal event is fast becoming a tradition as it will be the
third reunion in a row with the get together at El Torito. Always a lot of fun!

For those who are interested, reservations for the Marriott can be made by calling the hotel
directly. The hotel has reserved a block of rooms at a rate of $79.00 per night. You'll need to reference the group name of Marina High 40th Class Reunion in order to receive the group rate.
